01Acceptance of terms

By using BusyTree, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

02About BusyTree

BusyTree is a marketplace connecting buyers with local sellers, service providers, and China Sourcing. It operates primarily in Nigeria and Ghana and is open to users worldwide.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BusyTree.

04User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You must provide accurate information during registration and verification.

05Buyer and seller obligations

06Payments and escrow

Local Brands and Service Providers

Payments for Local Brands and Service Providers are held in escrow by BusyTree for buyer protection. Funds are released to the seller or service provider only after the buyer confirms delivery, or after the protection window ends if no dispute is raised.

China Sourcing

Payments for China Sourcing are collected directly by BusyTree. There is no escrow hold. Payment is final once completed.

Withdrawal policy

Funds become available for withdrawal by sellers and service providers on the next business day after release from escrow. Weekends and public holidays are not counted as business days. BusyTree uses Flutterwave for payment processing and settlements.

07Fees

BusyTree currently charges 0% commission on Local Brands and Service Providers. Optional BoostMe and Featured Listing fees may apply. Buyers may be charged standard payment processing fees by the payment provider.

08Dispute resolution

Disputes must first be reported in-app. BusyTree will attempt to mediate. BusyTree's decision on escrow release is final, but parties may seek legal remedies.

09Prohibited conduct

You may not post illegal items, engage in fraud, spam, harassment, or violate intellectual property rights.

10Intellectual property

All content on BusyTree belongs to BusyTree or its users, with a licence granted to us.

11Limitation of liability

BusyTree is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or transactions between users.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BusyTree harmless from any claims arising from your use of the app or your transactions.

13Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms.

14Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
