What is BusyTree?+
BusyTree is a marketplace for Ghana and Nigeria where you can buy from Local Brands or source products directly from China. Every order is protected by our secure escrow system.
Which countries does BusyTree serve?+
We currently serve Ghana and Nigeria, with China Sourcing available to buyers in both countries.
How does escrow protect me?+
When you pay, your money is held safely by BusyTree — not the seller. It's only released once you confirm you've received your order and you're satisfied. If something goes wrong, you can raise a dispute and we'll mediate.
02Buying & payments
How do I pay for an order?+
You pay securely in the app through our payment partner. Your payment is held in escrow until you confirm receipt.
How long does delivery take?+
Local Brands: typically 1–7 days, depending on the seller and your location.
China Sourcing: typically 14–35 days, as items ship internationally.
What if my order is wrong, damaged, or never arrives?+
Report it within 7 days through in-app chat or support. Because your payment is in escrow, you're protected. See our Return & Refund Policy for the details.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes, in eligible cases such as a wrong, damaged, or undelivered item. Change-of-mind and completed services are generally not eligible. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
03Selling
How do I start selling on BusyTree?+
Create an account, then upgrade to a Seller or Service Provider profile in the app. Add your listings with clear photos, prices, and descriptions, and you're ready to receive orders.
What does it cost to sell?+
It's free to list. A 3% service fee is deducted from your payment only when a transaction is completed successfully.
When do I get paid?+
Your earnings are released from escrow once the buyer confirms they've received the order and are satisfied.
04China Sourcing
How does China Sourcing work?+
You order products sourced directly from suppliers in China. BusyTree coordinates with the supplier and logistics partner to get your order delivered, with escrow protection throughout.
Can I return a China Sourcing order?+
Returns are more limited due to international shipping. Refunds are available for items never shipped, significantly wrong items, or shipping damage. See the Return & Refund Policy.
05Account & support
Do I need to verify my identity?+
To keep the marketplace trustworthy, some accounts — especially sellers — complete identity verification. This helps protect everyone from fraud.
