What is BusyTree?+
BusyTree is a marketplace app that connects buyers with local sellers, service providers, and China Sourcing. It has two main sections:
Local Brands: Quality products and professional services from trusted sellers and service providers in Ghana and Nigeria.
China Sourcing: Wholesale and bulk products sourced directly from China by BusyTree.
Where is BusyTree available?+
BusyTree is currently available in Ghana and Nigeria, and is open to users worldwide.
02Buying & payments
How does payment work?+
Local Brands & Service Providers: Your payment is held in secure escrow. The seller or service provider is paid only after you confirm delivery.
China Sourcing: Payment is made directly to BusyTree. There is no escrow hold.
Is there any fee for buyers?+
BusyTree does not charge buyers a commission. Standard payment processing fees from Flutterwave may apply.
Is my money safe?+
Yes. For Local Brands and Service Providers, payment is only released after you confirm receipt. For China Sourcing, BusyTree handles the order directly.
How long does delivery take?+
Local Brands: Usually 1–7 days.
China Sourcing: Air freight takes 3–10 days. Sea freight takes 35–60 days.
03Selling
How do I become a seller or service provider?+
Download the app, go to “Signup” or “My Store”, and complete your verification.
What fees do sellers pay?+
BusyTree currently charges 0% commission. Optional paid features such as BoostMe and Featured Listings are available.
When do I get paid?+
Once the buyer confirms delivery (or the protection window ends), the money is released to your wallet. You can withdraw it on the next business day.
04China Sourcing
How does China Sourcing work?+
BusyTree sources products directly from Chinese factories and suppliers. You can browse products, check prices and MOQ, place an order, and make payment. BusyTree handles the rest.
Is China Sourcing safe?+
Yes. BusyTree manages the entire process from sourcing to delivery. Always check product details carefully before ordering.
05Account & support
How do I verify my account?+
Go to your profile and complete KYC verification by uploading a valid ID (Passport, National ID, NIN, Ghana Card, etc.) and a live photo.
How do I contact support?+
You can reach support through in-app chat or email at support@busytree.com.ng.
I have a problem with an order. What should I do?+
Contact the seller first through in-app chat. If unresolved, report the issue via the “Report Problem” button within 7 days of delivery.
